Welcome to the Local Government Law Blog!

Welcome!  We are pleased to finally have this blog up and look forward to populating these pages with tons of resources and commentary on issues related to local government law.  This blog is an outgrowth of the American Association of Law Schools (AALS) Local Government Law Section.  Our goal is to inform scholars, practitioners and others interested in local government law as well as feature news articles, commentary and scholarship related to the field.  We invite your contributions, press releases, notices for call for papers, recent scholarship as well as your feedback.  We are also looking for co-administrators and editors, so if you are interested please contact me, Christopher Tyson, at chris.tyson@law.lsu.edu.

    Have you heard anything about the investment banks that have mislead local governments in bond deals. What liability do you think the elected decision makers that got involved in these bond scams have, beyond not getting re-elected?
